FC Premier 02 Boys fought with all their might at the Classic League soccer fields of Richland College.

It was a tough battle where 13 four-team brackets and 2 three-team brackets competed for 20 coveted spots in Classic League Div 1 and ten more spots in Classic Div 2. 
Tensions ran high. A lot of pressure from peers, parents, and their inner competitive selves to achieve their best and get nothing but W’s.
The first game found the boys quite nervous. They played well, but were unable to keep their heads in the game, finishing 1-3 for a devastating loss against the team that later would secure one of the 15 D1 spots on the first round. 

The second game went their way, but the boys continued to battle nerves and tension while winning 2-1. Though the result does not show it, the third game was their best played. The boys showed more confidence, and kept the game even through the first half. With only a few minutes to go, the game remained even at 2-2. Coach Bonny made adjustments to try to generate more scoring chances, as he was aware that a tie would keep the team in third place (due to goal differential) and out of Classic reach.
The chances generated did not result in any more goals for the FC Premier 02 boys. However, the opponent found a way to get through, and in a matter of four minutes, the game changed to 2-5. The winning team went on to also qualify for Classic Div 1 (on the second round of the QT).

The boys will play in the Plano Premier League 2012-13. The result of their Placement Tournament was three wins with 23 goals for and 1 against. Great job FC Premier 02 Boys. Play hard, play fair and have fun, and continue to develop to become the strongest team that you can be!
